Located in the Short North area of downtown Columbus the NLCO seeks to serve the underprivileged residents in the area. Providing a caring space where our neighbors can be fed, and seek medical service free of charge. Our unique clothing room seeks to outfit men for interviews and jobs in a variety of fields.
Depending upon a wide group of churches, businesses and individuals the NLCO provides an opportunity to serve those in our community. Our volunteers provide the much needed personal interaction and community which is often missing in the lives of the homeless, addicted and those living on the edge of society. We offer opportunities for all people to come together in community and learn from each other.
The NLCO is an independent 503 c 3 organization. We are governed by a Board of Directors that are ultimately responsible for fulfilling the purpose and operations of the services. They are also responsible for the NLCO’s vision, the accountability and sustainability.
